Family Dispute Resolution (‘FDR’) is a specialised type of negotiation that allows parents and care givers to come together and discuss issues relating to their children in a supportive and respectful environment. A primary goal of FDR is to encourage parents to focus on the best interests of their children when managing disputes and making future parenting arrangements.
 
We assist parents to develop an understanding of attachment and child development, and to appreciate how these factors might affect their potential agreements. Parents are the greatest role models children have when it comes to forming and maintaining their own relationships, and we encourage parents to build their knowledge and skills in conflict resolution so that their children can ultimately learn and apply these in their own lives.
 
Our Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (‘FDRP’) has specialised knowledge and extensive experience in this field, having been an accredited FDRP with the Attorney- General’s Department for over 17 years.

Family Dispute Resolution S60I

  • 3 hour mediation on-site Family Dispute Conference, includes drafting Parenting Plan or Consent Orders – $1800 + GST
  • 6 hour mediation on-site Family Dispute Conference, includes drafting Parenting Plan or Consent Orders – $3000 + GST
  • Prepare and file Application for Consent Orders including filing fee – $700 + GST
  • Single party S60I intake and invitation including Certificate – $300 + GST
